The plain-old telephone system (POTS) is on its way out and is due to be turned off in 2025 (according to Ofcom current information)
We provide a VoIP service – which is Voice over Internet Protocol, of which we provide several packages and services as detailed below
Our contract is on a monthly rolling, which means you can change between call packages once a month. So, if finances are tight, you can cut back to the basic package and if you have a lot of national and/or international calls to make then you can upgrade. (10 days’ notice is required)
You can transfer your existing telephone number over to WiFi X, which will require some documentation and costs £20.00 + VAT
We can provide this service to anybody that has a stable connection to the internet, if your connection is unstable or very low bandwidth, then we would strongly recommend you don’t have this type of VoIP service.
Pay as you go - £8.99pcm + VAT – this can connect to any VoIP handset or an app on your mobile
Inclusive
All outgoing calls are charged, but this charge is a quarter of what BT standard charge rate 'Our Call Rates'
All incoming calls are free and with VoIP you can have as many incoming calls as you have devices to answer them, you are not restricted to one call at a time like POTS

VoIP Handsets range in price from next to nothing to the top of the range, but we only supply Grandstream VoIP devices because of the reliability and call quality, also when you are purchasing a VoIP device from WiFi X we will do the configuration and provide you with a handover demonstration.
The WiFi X Portal allows you to manage your VoIP service with the added security of 2-way authentication, you can see all the calls made and received, listen to Voicemail and a host of other features.
Standard - £18.99pcm + VAT – this can connect to any VoIP handset or an app on your mobile.
